Almost 14 years ago, I darkened the door of a church that changed my life for eternity. I had been raised to be a Chreaster. I went to church every Christmas and Easter. This preaching, this teaching, was like nothing I had ever heard before. The pastor, Pastor Duane Broom, Senior Pastor at Everlasting Covenant Christian Center in Apopka, Florida.
From the basketball courts in South Apopka, on a basketball outreach, to attending Promise Keepers in the late 90’s, to the mission field of India, and stepping out in the apostolic business assignments, I got to know, respect and love my man of God.
The anointed teachings that weekly transmit from Pastor Duane, are life changing, and cause the believer to be more then a pew sitter. There is a certain sense of responsibility that one walks away with after hearing a message, one that is being a doer of the Word and not a hearer only.

Romans 10:10 says that if you confess with your mouth and believe with your heart, that Jesus died for your sins, you shall be saved. How awesome is that. Works does not get it done, being a good person doesn’t get it done, only confession that Jesus is Lord. Today, this day, take a step towards Jesus and He will meet you. The greatest decision you could ever make. God loves you, and He sent His Son to die for you. Praise the Lord!
