First, lets get something straight from the start.  I don’t like the Viqueens.  I only like them a smidgen more then I like the Colts, Jets, and Saints.  See, I love Green Bay, and it goes against my core to even think about cheering for the guys in purple.  I have said this before, I bleed cheese.

The logic goes like this; I was rooting for the Florida Gators, and I really don’t care for Alabama or Saban, but when the Tide rolled over Florida, I became a fan of the SEC representative.  If someone is to be champion, there is a sense of pride, that none is worthy unless they beat you.  Likewise, Minnesota beat the Pack twice, and if there is to be a team to hoist the Lombardi, let it be someone who earned it over my team.

Lastly, did I mention, as much as I resent that Brett Farve is playing in a obscene uniform, I find myself happy to see him play well.  I may need some counseling, I don’t understand why I can’t resist cheering.  Maybe, its the fact that he is the ironman of the NFL, or maybe its because you can see the passion for the game in his eyes, or maybe its just that he is one of  the funnest guys to watch,  playing this great game.  I am glad he returned again to football this season, the game is better because he played.

Whats your take on this?  Indy still has to get by the Jets and the Bills, while NO has Dallas, Tampa, and Carolina.  If you don’t think they will make it, who will either give them their first loss, or who will knock them out of the playoffs?

Who are your picks to meet in the big game?  If you could write the ending to a great NFL season, how would you have it end?

Here is mine:  Packers make it to the NFC title game against the Vikings, Farve has the game of his life, but Rodgers has a late scoring drive, capping it off with a run right to Ahman Green for the win as time expires.

The Baltimore Ravens surprise everyone with their defense taking them all the way to the big game.  Michael Oher is voted MVP of the AFC Championship game.  Three RB’s hit a hundred yards rushing and he scores on a Tackle eligible. ( OK this one is pretty far fetched, but I really loved the movie!)
Against the Pack, Rodgers has the game of his life throwing for 4 touchdowns and 400+ yards.  Donald Driver is MVP with two scores. 35-10 blowout.  Hogwash on a good game, you want a blowout when your team is playing!
